About us

Experienced, gentle dental care for dogs and cats.

Pet Dental of Colorado is an independently owned Colorado business, built on years of hands-on work with pets' teeth and a simple belief: dental care should feel calm, careful, and honest.

5+ years

of hands-on experience performing anesthesia-free dental maintenance for dogs and cats.

Our experience

Years of hands-on care, one pet at a time.

Our founder has spent more than five years performing anesthesia-free dental maintenance. That experience shapes everything about how we work: how we greet a nervous pet, when we pause, what we write down, and when we say a pet needs a veterinarian instead.

  • Hands-on experienceYears of gentle, careful work with dogs and cats of every temperament.
  • Compassionate handlingPatience first. If a pet isn't comfortable, we stop.
  • Attention to detailThorough, unhurried work and careful notes on every Personalized Dental Report Card.
  • Client educationClear, practical guidance you can use at home.
  • Veterinary collaborationWe work alongside veterinary professionals and bring concerns to their attention.
  • Screening and safetyA careful screening process, and a firm "no" when our service isn't the right fit.

Colorado-based

Independently owned. Colorado is home.

We're not a franchise or a national chain. Pet Dental of Colorado is owned and run here, and built for the way Coloradans live with their pets.

We plan to bring clinic days to neighborhoods across the state, with the same organized setup, calm approach, and honest communication at every one.

What makes us different

A few of these depend on clinic partnerships now being established, and are marked as planned.

  • A thoughtful, organized visit

Unhurried appointments, a friendly check-in, and clear next steps from booking to follow-up.

  • The same professional setup everywhere Planned

Matching navy scrubs, fresh towels, a branded check-in table, and the same organized equipment at every location.

  • Calm and low-stress

Your pet sets the pace. Breaks are normal. If handling becomes stressful, we stop.

  • Honest about limits

We clean visible tooth surfaces up to and along the gumline, never underneath the gums, and we'll always say what that can't do.

  • Clear documentation

A Personalized Dental Report Card after every visit, with observations, what was done, recommendations, and before-and-after photos.

  • Veterinary partnerships Being established

Clinic days at partner veterinary hospitals, with a veterinarian's exam and approval before any cleaning, and referral whenever a pet needs more.

What we'll never do

The promises we're building the business around.

  • Clean underneath the gums, or suggest awake cleaning replaces dental care under anesthesia
  • Force a pet through handling or a cleaning
  • Claim a cleaning prevents or treats dental disease
  • Diagnose. That's the veterinarian's role.
  • Use fear to sell a visit, or show a sample as if it were a real result

Working with veterinarians

Colorado treats teeth cleaning with instruments as veterinary dentistry, and we think that's right. Clinic days will take place at partner veterinary hospitals, with a veterinarian's exam and approval for every pet, documented consent, careful records, and referral whenever a pet needs more than anesthesia-free maintenance can offer. Supervision arrangements are confirmed with each hospital's medical director and against Colorado's rules.

Veterinary hospital partnerships

Where we are today

We're establishing partnerships with veterinary hospitals across Colorado. Clinic locations and dates will be announced on our Locations page as soon as they're confirmed.
